An employee of a fried chicken business was detained by police after he shot and killed an alleged extortionist who threatened to kill workers and the owner for refusing to pay.
The incident took place on Sunday evening October 17th at an office called “Pollo y menes la climbed” in Apodaca, Mexico.
Witness accounts indicate that the alleged perpetrator introduced himself as a member of organized crime and demanded a “fee” of 2,000 pesos a week ($ 94). To intimidate those present, he called on the phone, spoke with a man who, apparently, was the head of an organized criminal group.
It was just as he turned his back on them that a staff member fired a .22 caliber revolver at the attacker.
The event was filmed by surveillance cameras that can be used as evidence in the criminal case against the detainee.
