As a result of the terrorist attack, Acting Interior Minister of the LPR Igor Kornet was seriously injured. At this time, he was in a barbershop which he often visited.
In addition to Igor Kornet, 3 more people were injured. No one has yet taken responsibility for the attack, but it is probably the work of Ukrainian partisans.
LPR – Luhansk People’s Republic – a state entity created by Russian-backed separatists in eastern Ukraine. From 2014 to 2022, it existed as a self-proclaimed state, and then was annexed by Russia. The LPR claims the territory of the Luhansk region of Ukraine. The administrative center is the city of Lugansk.
