Mayor of Krivoy Rog Konstantin Pavlov was shot two times in the chest on the threshold of his country house.
On August 15, at about 4 pm, the police received a call from an eyewitness to the event. An investigative-operational group left for the place.
Mayor Konstantin Pavlov was lying in a pool of blood. Near him lies a Kalashnikov assault rifle with a night vision scope from which the murder was committed.
Although the investigation is considering two versions of murder and suicide, officials close to the mayor say that there were no prerequisites for suicide and Pavlov.
Some politicians believe that his political rivals are to blame for Pavlov’s death.
At the same time, a criminal version is being considered. Some time ago, the SBU press service reported that a gang of criminals was detained in Kryvyi Rih, which was headed by the crime boss Aleksandr Ovcharenko, nicknamed “Hipak”.
Perhaps the murder of Mayor Pavlov is connected with the revenge of the criminal world.
