A postal worker got stuck in the elevator of a new building on one of the upper floors. She was found dead 3 days later. The woman died of cardiac arrest due to suffocation.
32-year-old Olga worked as a postman. On July 23, she was delivering mail and entered the building, which was not fully occupied. She entered the elevator to go up to the floor, but the elevator suddenly got stuck.
No one heard the screams of the woman, since not all apartments in the house were occupied.
Relatives contacted the police, but the woman’s body was found only 3 days later.
According to the conclusion of the pathologist-anatomical autopsy, the cause of death was coronary heart disease, acute cardiovascular and respiratory failure.
The prosecutor’s office is investigating the incident.
