During the rite of bathing in the hole dedicated to the date of the baptism of Jesus, the mother of two children drowned in the hole.
This heartbreaking video was shared on many social networks.
A young woman unsuccessfully dived into the hole and her body was sucked in by the fast current of the river.
The people involved in the ceremony could not help. The body of a woman, according to police officers, can be removed from under the ice only after the ice cover of the river melts.
The video shows the screams of children and the comments of men trying to save the woman.
UPD: The woman’s body was found 1 km (0.6 miles) from the ice hole.
