Former director and producer of the children’s humor magazine ‘Yeralash‘, 48-year-old Ilya Belostotsky, was sentenced to 14 years in prison for pedophilia.
He was found guilty of committing indecent acts against a minor under the age of 14. The court found that on November 5–6, 2018, Belostotsky ‘committed other acts of a sexual nature’ in relation to the boy in his apartment in Moscow.
In 2020, Belostotsky was detained on suspicion of pedophilia. In October, his house was searched, during which pornographic materials involving minors were found.
