The driver was stopped by a traffic police inspector on suspicion of drinking alcohol. But instead of presenting documents, the driver doused the inspector with gasoline and set fire to his car.
The car caught fire and the flames spread to the policeman. He received burns to 50% of his body and was taken to the hospital in serious condition.
Meanwhile, the offender fled. The owner of the burnt car was identified, but it turned out that another person was driving the car. The police of Chuvashia is searching for the criminal.
