A 21-year-old guy from Saratov came to Vorkuta to find out a virtual relationship in real life with a 20-year-old girl.
He tracked her down near the entrance where she lived and, threatening with a knife, demanded that she go to live with him in Saratov. When the girl refused him, the aggressor began to beat her with a knife. The girl received about 8 hits, but survived thanks to passers-by who neutralized the attacker.
The court sentenced inadequate virtual lover to 6 years in prison. The perpetrator justified his behavior with ‘personal experiences’.
