At the entrance of a residential building in the city of Chekhov, the corpse of a 55-year-old woman with numerous chopped wounds was discovered.
As it turned out, the mother-in-law of the deceased was involved in the murder. Women had a conflict during which an 80-year-old mother-in-law slaughtered her daughter-in-law with an ax.
The ax was found in the bathroom during an inspection of the apartment.
The woman was detained and hospitalized in a psychiatric clinic.
