Saying something is a conspiracy theory means nothing. You have to bring forth arguements and evidence.

Those are both logical questions, I agree. One should always thoroughly examine both options.

The situations you described are ambigious, therefore they can be spun by the media and used as propaganda. One can ask for context in those cases, so as to clarify the situation and bring to light other potential explanations.
