It’s not a good idea to attack someone with a bottle in your hand if they are armed with a firearm. And although the bottle was smashed against the head, the opponent had a more weighty argument in the form of a revolver suspiciously similar to the Nagant M1895.
During the conflict that arose in the store, the man left, and then returned with two revolvers in order to get even. An unarmed guard followed him and stabbed him in the head with a bottle, but was killed.
