I am often asked in Telegram and in the comments about the war between Russia and Ukraine. I will try to answer some about this war and what is happening now. This post is long, but it can’t be shortened.
This post is made for our users who are outside of Russia and Ukraine because the citizens of these countries are more or less clear.
First of all, I will note that this is not a war of the Russian and Ukrainian people, this is a war of Putin personally and his henchmen against Ukraine.
Who are you Mr Putin?
Vladimir Putin came to power quite by accident. He served as head of the club for FSB officers on the territory of a military unit located in Germany.
When the USSR collapsed, Russian troops were withdrawn from Germany, Putin was left out of work. He returned to St. Petersburg and eked out a miserable existence with part-time jobs.
Once he went to the institute, which he graduated from, and there in the corridor he met his former teacher Anatoly Sobchak, who at that time served as mayor of St. Petersburg.
Anatoly Sobchak invited Putin to his job as deputy mayor.
Putin in this position oversaw the supply of humanitarian aid to Russia from Western countries. Remember, this was in the early 1990s.
At the same time, Putin made contacts among the criminal authorities of St. Petersburg and earned his first money on several scams related to the transportation of goods through the ports of St. Petersburg.
There are a lot of rumors about this photo, and even Putin’s press secretary Dmitry Peskov made statements about this. But within the scope of this post, I can’t give lengthy explanations. Both of these crime bosses were killed at different times.
After that, his career took off. Soon he was noticed and invited to Moscow.
Since Putin was an FSB officer, he was appointed head of the Russian FSB.
Soon the aging President Yeltsin introduced him as his successor.
Vladimir Putin is very short and this makes him terribly complex. As a child, due to his short stature, he was often beaten and began to practice Judo wrestling.
In the Judo section, he met the Rotenberg(rus) brothers, they are now, thanks to their friendship with Putin, millionaires and oligarchs.
Putin is a very suspicious person, he believes in all sorts of nonsense. He wears a red thread around his wrist, and according to some unverified rumors, he uses shamanistic rituals(rus).
When in 2019 the shaman Gabyshev organized a ‘march on the Kremlin with the aim of expelling Putin’, he was stopped, arrested, and later imprisoned in a psychiatric hospital.
You can be ironic about this all you want, but this fact speaks for itself.
Once a year, Putin leaves for the Siberian taiga with Russian Defense Minister Shoigu. Nobody knows what they are doing there, except for the officers of the FSO, but they, of course, are silent.
Do you know that Putin’s height is less than 163 cm? (5.3ft) In this photo, Vladimir Putin is with Prime Minister Dmitry Medvedev, who is 163 cm (5.3ft) tall, in the gym and Medvedev appears to be taller than Putin.
In order to experience less inhibitions due to his height, Putin wears special shoes that allow him to increase his height to about 175 cm (5.9 ft).
Former FSB officer Alexander Litvinenko said of Putin: “He has a small dick and big ambitions.”
For this, Litvinenko paid with his life and was poisoned with polonium by the Russian special services.
The murder of Litvinenko in 2006 in England was followed by a series of murders and attempts by the Russian special services to kill people personally inconvenient to Putin:
- 2013 – suicide under strange circumstances of the Russian disgraced oligarch Boris Berezovsky
- 2015 – the poisoning of the Bulgarian businessman Emilian Gebrev (his company supplied weapons to Ukraine)
- 2015 – assassination of Russian opposition politician Boris Nemtsov
- 2018 poisoning of former Russian GRU officer Sergei Skripal and his daughter
- 2020 – poisoning of Russian opposition politician Alexei Navalny
All these people were personal enemies of Putin.
Ukraine and Putin. Crimea. Donbass. Separatists
In 2014, the Revolution of Dignity took place in Ukraine. Hated by Ukrainians, pro-Russian President Yanukovych was overthrown and fled to Russia.
Following this, Russia annexed Crimea and unleashed a war in the Donbas with the help of pro-Russian separatists.
Two pseudo-republics of the DPR and LPR were formed on the territory of Ukraine.
Attempts by the Ukrainian army to clear the Donetsk and Luhansk regions of separatists with the help of military force led to the complete failure of the Ukrainian army. The separatists were supported by Russia, supplying them with weapons, ammunition, food and supporting their opposition with the help of the Russian army.
At the same time, the separatists shot down a Malaysian passenger Boeing 777 flight MH17 from the Russian Buk anti-aircraft missile system, blaming Ukraine for the crash.
The Minsk agreements were imposed on Ukraine, according to which the Donetsk and Luhansk regions of Ukraine were endowed with federal rights, which, of course, did not suit Ukraine.
The conflict between the DPR-LPR and Ukraine escalated into a protracted one, the Ukrainian army managed to occupy 2/3 of the territories of the Lugansk and Donetsk regions, the troops from both sides took up a defensive position.
The DPR and LPR were supplied by Russia, troops were supplied there, although Russia denied the presence of a military contingent in the DPR and LPR.
Everything was more or less quiet in that state.
Putin and the opposition in Russia
Since 2018, Putin began to clear the political field in Russia from the opposition. Political actions were severely suppressed, people who participated in street protests were fined large sums and imprisoned.
By the end of 2021, all political opponents have been neutralized. The structure of Putin’s main critic Alexei Navalny, the Anti-Corruption Foundation, and its headquarters were recognized by the Russian court as extremism, and Alexei Navalny himself was imprisoned on false charges.
Some of the opposition left Russia, some are in prison.
Putin got away with it all. And terrorist attacks around the world, the annexation of Crimea, the war in Donbass, the poisoning of politicians, reprisals against the opposition, arbitrariness and lawlessness in Russia.
He felt his impunity. In his logic of a street hooligan, which he has remained to this day, one thing comes through: “What will you do to me?”
The Russian opposition has been claiming for years that Putin is a thief, a corrupt official and a money-mad old man. Look at his palace, which he built with money stolen from his people.
His gang of thieves and murderers is robbing Russia, killing people, but toothless Western democracy only grunted indignantly in the parliaments of their countries.
This could not but lead to the fact that Putin, feeling impunity, attacked Ukraine.
New war with Ukraine
By February 2022, everything was ready. Putin has concentrated an army of 200,000 on the border with Ukraine, in the occupied Crimea and on the territory of Belarus.
Provocations against Ukraine began. Russian pro-government media published reports that artillery shelling of the territory of Russia, the DPR and the LPR was taking place from the territory of Ukraine. All these fakes have been exposed.
However, Russian propaganda has been claiming, since 2014, that power in Ukraine was seized by neo-Nazis who hate Russians.
Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky is a Jew. His grandfather fought in the 2nd World War against the Nazis. Accusing him of neo-Nazism is just stupid, but Putin does it.
Propaganda in the spirit of Goebbels has borne fruit. About 33% of Russian citizens support Putin and his policies.
At 5 am on February 24, 2022, Putin made an address to the nation. In it, he repeated the words of propaganda about neo-Nazis in Ukraine and stated that he launched a “military operation in the Donbass” after Russia recognized the DPR and LPR as states.
At this time, artillery was already shelling Ukrainian military facilities. The invasion has begun.
What to expect next?
At one of the press conferences, Putin stated:
-What do you think about the use of nuclear weapons?
To which Putin replied(rus):
The aggressor must know that retribution is inevitable and that he will be destroyed. And we are a victim of aggression. And we, as martyrs, will go to heaven, and they will simply die!
In 2018, in an interview for the film World Order 2018, on the issue of the use of weapons, Putin said(rus):
Yes, for humanity it will be a global catastrophe, for the world there will be a global catastrophe. But still, as a citizen of Russia and the head of the Russian state, I want to ask myself the question: “Why do we need such a world if there is no Russia there?”
In his Address to the Nation dated February 24, 2022, Putin quite transparently hinted that he was ready to use nuclear weapons. He said, addressing the countries of the West:
And you can only intervene [in the war between Russia and Ukraine]. You will receive an answer whose history is unknown!
There is no doubt that if NATO intervenes in the war between Russia and Ukraine, Putin will use nuclear weapons.
However, he will use it even if something goes wrong in his war against Ukraine.
Western leaders have been shaking hands with Putin for 20 years, smiling obsequiously, signing agreements with him when they were told that you are dealing with a mentally ill person, a maniac and a murderer.
This is an evil, greedy, vengeful dwarf, a petty hooligan from the gateway, who imagines himself to be a ‘great geopolitician’ and ‘collector of Russian lands’.
Western countries raised a new Hitler. Hitler pupated, spread his wings and now flew to sow blood, war and destruction.
Russia’s war with Ukraine is not a war with Ukraine. This is Putin’s war with the whole world.
We got what we deserved.
On February 27, 2022, Putin put Russia’s strategic nuclear forces on alert.
