A woman who hid a newborn girl for 6 months in a wadrobe was sentenced to 5 years in prison, suspended for 10 years.
A 37-year-old woman gave birth to a child she did not want. She gave birth to a girl, but could not kill her. The woman put the newborn in the wardrobe in the hope that the child would die, but the girl was fed by the 13-year-old eldest son of the woman.
The baby was discovered by Yulia’s friend, that was the name of the unfortunate mother, when she came to visit and heard a strange sound from the closet. By that time, the 6-month-old girl was extremely malnourished. Doctors provided the child with the necessary assistance, and then handed over to a relative who took custody of the child.

Such a mild punishment was imposed because the woman has two more minor children as dependents.

The perks of being born in ” civilized” countries
Civilized countries still outdo the rest of the world on virtually every metric there is. Child mortality rates are highest in Africa and Asia.
We don’t cook animals alive. We don’t eat people alive on the street. We supply our people with clean drinking water and modern medicine so that another God-given life can grow up without mutations from being exposed to unsanitary conditions (to put it kindly).
Any taunt directed at us can only be founded on an inferiority complex. The numbers speak for themselves, everything else is just wishful thinking.
Remind me why Africa is the poorest with little to no basic life conditions while its soil contains most of the gold and platinum you can find?
