Upon arrival, he began to drink alcohol, terrorized the local population, walked around the village with a pitchfork and an ax, and threatened to kill everyone.
Rossomakhin rented a room from an 85-year-old woman. One day, her son came to visit his mother and found her naked body with signs of knife wounds.
Soon Rossomakhin was arrested. The investigation established that Rossomakhin had stabbed the pensioner to death, and then he was overcome by sexual desire and raped her corpse.
The man was sentenced to 22 years in prison for his crime.
