The body of a famous French cook, winner of international prizes, Jean-Paul Poinard, was found in the freezer.

As it turned out, the cook was killed by his girlfriend, 51-year-old Gailein Collober. The incident arose due to an accidental quarrel that escalated into a fight.

When Gailein Collober realized that she had killed Poinard, she transferred his body to the bathroom, where she soaked the corpse for several weeks. Then, wrapping the body of her former lover in several plastic bags, she placed him in the freezer in the fetal position.

The crime was uncovered thanks to her daughter Gailein Collober, who told the police that her mother “drunk” hinted to her daughter that “something bad happened to Jean-Paul.”

When the police arrived at Collober’s house, the woman ran out to the police with the words: “I know why you are here!”

According to preliminary estimates, if Guilaine Collober’s guilt is proven, she faces 20 years in prison.
