A parcel with the body of a child was delivered to the morgue

An unusual parcel from an anonymous received in the city morgue of New York last Friday – employees found in a tightly packed package the body of a baby that was dead. The “package” was found at the door of the James E. Grace morgue on Wednesday, but it was not opened until Friday, as the director said he thought it was “not an urgent package.”

Police are now investigating whether the child may have been alive when the parcel was first delivered to the morgue door. In any case, agents are looking for a mother who planted her child to other people.

According to one of the morgue staff, there was a note on the bundle, but its contents were classified by the investigation, which does not consider it necessary to make it public.
