The corpses of chess players Alexandra Vernigora and Stanislav Bogdanovich were found in Moscow in an apartment on Kastanaevskaya street.
According to the preliminary version, the dead could be poisoned by laughing gas. Balloons with nitrous oxide were found near the bodies.
Bogdanovich, a citizen of Ukraine recently spoke at a chess match for Russia.
It is noted that the chess player received threats on social networks.
The investigation is ongoing.
