In Moscow, on Leninsky Prospekt, a shootout occurred.
On June 15, near the Salyut Hotel, traffic police officers stopped a taxi car which was driven by a native of Ingushetia Ratmir Galaev.
As a result of the conflict, Galaev opened fire on police officers from a traumatic pistol. Both policemen were injured, one returned fire and wounded the attacker in the stomach.
During a search of Galaev’s apartment, abstracts of extremist literature were found.
