Large-scale flood in Sochi

During the last two days 90 mm of rain fell in the resort city of Sochi. The bad weather was accompanied by gale force winds up to 20 m/s and sea storms.

Beaches of the city and the Krasnodar coastline were closed, and a section of federal highway A-147 Dzhubga-Sochi was flooded.

According to our correspondents, drivers and passengers of the cars caught in the elements escaped from private cars in buses that could not be swept away by the raging current.

A man in a car caught in the stream of the river is making obscene comments on the incident on the video.
