The man was riding a rented electric scooter without protection and a helmet. He fell and hit his head. Paramedics arrived and pronounced the victim dead.
Every day, dozens of electric scooter enthusiasts are admitted to hospitals in Russia. The authorities are trying to bring the current legislation in line with modern requirements for electric transport, but so far the situation here is rather complicated.
