In the capital of Azerbaijan, Baku, an explosion occurred at the ‘Location’ nightclub. There are casualties, at least three people died and 24 more sought medical help.
After the explosion in the building of the nightclub, a fire started, which was quickly extinguished. Medics and rescuers are working at the scene of the tragedy. The Deputy Minister for Emergency Situations, Lieutenant-General Etibar Mirzoev, arrived.
According to the initial version of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Azerbaijan, the cause of the tragedy is an explosion of household gas, but most likely the version of the investigation will change.
After the Russian peacekeeping troops left the conflict zone between Armenia and Azerbaijan in Nagorno-Karabakh to replenish the group of Russian armed forces weakened in the war with Ukraine, the “frozen” Armenian-Azerbaijani conflict again turned into a “hot” form.
This explosion could trigger a new wave of escalation in the region.
