Sweb.ru fagots

Sweb.ru

The first version of the DEADHOUSE.RU site was made on SSI configuration files with PHP connection, so it was not possible to hack the site, and, believe me, there were a lot of people willing.

Back then, hosting a website was not cheap, especially a website with content like DEADHOUSE.
I had an account on the hosting sweb.ru. Pornography was banned on this hosting, but there was no word about violence or anything similar in the rules. Among other things, it was forbidden to keep more than one site on Sweb.ru at that time. In general, Sweb is greedy creature.

I did a tricky thing. On the hosting Sweb.ru I kept the most ordinary site. But with the help of a script, I separated requests and when a user requested DEADHOUSE.RU pages, the DEADHOUSE.RU site was opened for him, and in all other cases it was an ordinary unremarkable site about IT.

But it didn’t last very long. Someone nevertheless wrote a complaint and one morning I did not find the DEADHOUSE.RU website or any other project.

The support team replied that my account violated the hosting rules, although I knew for sure that nothing was prohibited in their rules except pornography and malicious software, viruses, and so on.

It turns out these assholes from Sweb.ru changed the hosting rules overnight in such a way that the DEADHOUSE.RU site fell under the criteria of prohibited content. Agree that the hosting provider does not change the rules of service because of every site.

By the way, these fagots from Sweb.ru never gave a backup of the site.
Nothing to do, I had to look for a new site.

Peterhost.ru

I found a hosting that allowed hosting sites with 18+ content. In my opinion it was Goldhost.ru or something like that. There was a traffic limit, some gigabytes per month, and DEADHOUSE.RU was quite popular at that time.

It turned out to be a paradoxical situation: the site was available for the first 7 days of the month, and then automatically shut down due to the end of the traffic limit. I had to do something about this and I started looking for a new hosting for DEADHOUSE.RU.

The site was quickly found, it was Peterhost.ru. Excellent guys and the site, and in the future, the server were with them for many years.

* in 2018 Peterhost was acquired by RU-Center. Hosting from RU-Center is shit. Don’t use it.

By the way, I still don’t know how these guys from Peterhost got out with a stream of complaints. Later, when I took VDS from them, they sent these complaints to me, but what they did when I just had an account on their hosting, I don’t know. It was a good service anyway.

Not everything went smoothly in the new place either. Approximately every 3-4 months the Peterhost administrator sent me letters with something like this: Hey, man, you and your site have exceeded all the limits of the current tariff plan. Could you change it to a more advanced one?

This was until the tariff plan reached the top of the offered line of services. I had to take VDS and keep the DEADHOUSE project there.

But the matter did not end there, because even VDS was not enough. From time to time, DDOS attacks were carried out on the site, the traffic was monstrous and because of me, other VDS went to the hosting.
Now is the time to consider buying a physical server. But that’s another story.
