36-year-old Roman Kontselidze was discharged from a psychiatric hospital the day before. He was twice convicted of robbery, and after serving his sentence he was seen by a psychiatrist.
He entered the building of the Housing and Public Utilities Management Company located nearby and started a fight with visitors there. Then he left the building and, waving a machete, headed towards the nearest school.
On the way, he wounded a girl with a machete, who lost consciousness, and attacked a teenager, who managed to escape.

The criminal was detained and taken to the hospital with gunshot wounds received during the shootout. He faces up to 20 years in prison for threatening to kill 2 or more people.
