Mummified family found in Moscow

Mummified corpse

The police suggest that these people did not die at the same time.
A terrible find was waiting for law enforcement officers when, in the presence of witnesses, they opened the door of the apartment, whose residents had a large debt for paying utility bills.

Inside the apartment were the remains of the owner of the apartment – a man born in 1912, his wife, born in 1914, their daughter, born in 1942, and granddaughters, born in 1971.
The reasons for their death are not yet clear, since the bodies were mummified, and clarity in this matter can only come after all the examinations.

However, the most inexplicable remains the preliminary conclusion of the investigation that the four people found in the Moscow apartment did not die simultaneously, but with a large interval.
“Preliminary results of these studies indicate that all persons died at different times, with an interval of up to five years,” said a representative of the Moscow prosecutor’s office, Sergey Marchenko. “The investigation came to such preliminary conclusions based on some data. In particular, a calendar for 1997, and undominated rubles were on the table. “

The investigation suggests that the head of the family – the oldest man – died about five years ago, his wife – about three years ago, and his daughter and granddaughter – about two years ago. At the same time, products from the year 2003 were found in the refrigerator of this apartment.
Law enforcement agencies have already opened a criminal case under the article “murder”. There are several versions of what happened.

According to RIA Novosti sources, the victims may have been in a secret sect “and could have been poisoned while performing some kind of ritual.”

The interlocutor of the agency said that two bottles of dark colored substance were found in the apartment.
However, Interfax sources report that the investigation has not yet found evidence that could confirm the version of the involvement of the dead in any sect.
