Mobilization in Russia. How does this happen

x

On September 21, Putin announced the start of a ‘partial mobilization’ of citizens to serve in the Russian Armed Forces. Mobilization events are taking place with accompanying complications typical for Russia: fights, drunkenness and protests.

In fact, this is not a ‘partial mobilization’, but a total one. The Russian authorities plan to draft up to 1 million recruits into the Army.

Fathers of many children, students, disabled people, military pensioners and those who have never done military service are called to war in Ukraine.

The whole process of recruiting for military service is accompanied by drinking alcohol, and then sorting things out with the help of a traditional Russian drunken fight.

At the same time, Russian citizens subject to mobilization are besieging checkpoints on the border with Georgia and Kazakhstan, near which kilometer-long queues of cars lined up.

Weak protests against being sent to war with Ukraine are brutally suppressed.

Those who have already reached the mobilization camps are given old uniforms and rusty Kalashnikovs.

Now most of those who wanted Russia’s victory in this war will feel the war for themselves, the procurement of plastic bags for corpses is in full swing. Putin decided to dispose of the male population of Russia.

This is our little video sketch.

  1. Love how Putin was all serious in his speech to mobilize more people for the Russian population, as if it’s some serious threat and everyone should be scared.
Then you see this, the detainment of a bunch of elderly men and others just not ready for war in general. What are they going to do with them? Give them AKs and say “go take that village blyad”?
It’s a funny contrasting scene of politics on the world stage, and the reality of it’s execution. One looks good, the other looks like shit.

In other news: Italy about to get it’s first far-right Prime Minister since WW2. Now we just need Germany and Japan back on the team, and we have a reprisal of the family-favorite spectacle

    1. Quite right. Since the days of WW2, Russia has been fighting in only one way – by flooding the enemy with the corpses of its soldiers.
Regarding this, there is even a meme: “Women still give birth.” “Women” here in a rough form, I don’t know how to translate this word.
I recently watched a video in which a captive mobilized sick soldier said that he was drafted into the army without any medical examination, put in a faulty Infantry Fighting Vehicle and sent to Ukraine. He was mobilized on 22 September and surrendered on 28.
This nightmare will not end until Putin dies.

      1. Poor bastard didn’t even last a proper week.
I remember the WW2 cannon fodder clusterfuck tactics. The losses inflicted on the Soviets by Nazi General Erich von Manstein. If Zhukov hadn’t evaded the purges, fuck knows what would have happened, as far as the Eastern Front.

So I think this apparent incapability and proneness to strategic blunders and mistakes by big developed countries that should know better, is because of the dictators interfering too much with the top brass. Case in point, Stalin had fuck knows how many officers and generals killed. Even Hitler didn’t listen and overcommited on the Eastern Front when it was a losing battle of attrition.
Now Putin you say is being a stubborn child.

Also, if Putin dies, the war doesn’t necessarily stop. Fuck knows what happens then

Zhukov is no less of a bastard than Stalin. It is Zhukov who is to blame for the insane amount of losses of the Red Army.
It is easy to calculate what will happen if Putin dies. No less assholes will come to power, but they will say: “Hey, look, we have removed Putin. You can do business with us. Let’s sit down at the negotiating table.”

          1. Well, he’s heralded as a “great general” and there is probably some truth to it, but it wouldn’t surprise me that he used cannonfodder tactics as well as you say.
Undoubtedly a piece of shit, but in terms of achieving military objectives, effective. Not efficient perhaps.

Do you think Putin’s successors are likely to continue the war or stop and start negotiations? Gas supply to Europe? Oil prices?

It is difficult to make predictions, everything is too confusing. These referendums in the occupied territories have added more confusion.
They need not to lose face and at the same time get some preferences.
It’s just impossible right now to say: “Putin is a bitch, it’s all because of him, and we are white and fluffy.” This will cause huge upheavals in Russia.
War is war, but business is on schedule. Of course they will continue to supply energy, they have no choice. Approximately half of the income to the budget from VAT is brought by Gazprom.
A good way for them is to declare Putin sick, remove him from power and begin a “voluntary” withdrawal of troops from Ukraine.
And then demand peace talks with Ukraine.

  2. Goddamn fuckers, fuck you Putin and Russia. I really feel bad for the protestors :(
