A multifunctional Russian fighter-bomber Su 34 crashed on a 9-storey residential building due to an engine fire.
Following this, a fire broke out that engulfed 17 apartments, some people escaping from the flames jumped from the windows. As a result of the disaster, 13 people died, including three children. Another 19 people were hospitalized with injuries and burns.
The pilot and navigator of the Su 34 managed to eject, the locals tried to help the pilot, but he refused.
